The Liebknecht-Luxemburg demonstration is an annual political mass rally to commemorate the 15 January 1919 murdered revolutionary socialist Karl Liebknecht and Rosa Luxemburg. It takes place regularly at the date of their death, on the second weekend in January, in Berlin and Frankfurt generally runs from the Frankfurt  gate to the memorial of the Socialists in the Central Cemetery Friedrichsfelde. In the GDR, was thought of Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht by a Socialist hero celebration.
